Update - 8/17/21
As of Tuesday, August 17, Little Canada residents will be restricted to an odd/even watering schedule, meaning that odd number addresses draw water for outdoor use when necessary only on odd-numbered calendar days, and those with even-numbered addresses may draw water for outdoor use only on even-numbered calendar days. (Example: If the address ends in an even number, watering should only occur on even-numbered dates (7-22, 7-24, etc.). If the address ends in an odd number, watering should only occur on odd-numbered dates.) As a reminder, City Code requires that outdoor water use is prohibited between 10:00 a.m. and 6 p.m.
If odd/even mandatory restrictions do not result in adequate demand reduction in water use, outdoor water use will be further restricted
An exception will be granted for vegetable gardens, commercial nurseries, community gardens, trees, and the watering of new sod or seed up. Property owners are encouraged to delay installing any new seed, sod, trees, or plants until later in the season when the weather cools down or when drought conditions have subsided.
